New Jersey has a Bill being Proposed to close many of it's State Parks. Get out and visit them before it is too late.

These parks offer a variety of activities such as Hiking, Boating, Picnicking, Boating, Playgrounds, Swimming, Biking, and Camping. Parks like Ringwood State park have a Botanical Garden and Landscaped Grounds to enjoy. I also recommend Lewis Morris State Park in Morristown NJ with a great playground, Bike and Hiking trails, and swimming (There are some good places to eat and stuff to do in town as well)

If you can't get out to one of these great parks You may want to check out the Liberty Science Center With many interactive exhibits. Tickets Start at 11.50 for Kids under 12.
